• Hi, I’m Krystal, founder of Calm the Chaos Co. — a Sunshine Coast mum of four (including one beautiful daughter with Down syndrome), with a lifelong passion for creating calm and order amidst the everyday chaos.

With a background in marketing, management, and creative design, I combine practical organisation with an eye for beautiful, functional spaces.

My goal is simple: to help families and businesses create environments that feel light, purposeful, and easy to maintain — so you can focus on what really matters.

1. What exactly does Calm the Chaos Co. do?

We help families, individuals, and businesses create calm, functional spaces through professional organising, decluttering, and styling. From pantries and playrooms to offices and creative studios, we design practical systems that work for everyday life — not just for show.

2. Do I need to be home while you organise?

It’s completely up to you! Many clients like to be involved during the first session, while others prefer to step away and return to a beautifully organised reveal. We’ll chat about your preferences during our consultation and plan accordingly.

3. Will you make me throw things away?

Never! This is a judgment-free zone. You’re always in control of what stays or goes. Our goal is to guide and support you — helping you make decisions that align with your lifestyle, space, and goals.

4. Do you supply storage products or can I use what I already have?

Both! We can work with your existing baskets and containers, or source beautiful, functional products that fit your space and budget. Product sourcing and styling can be included in your service if you’d like a complete finish.

5. How long does a session take?

Each space is unique, but most organising sessions run between 3 to 6 hours. Larger projects (like whole-home resets or commercial spaces) may take multiple sessions. We’ll provide a clear estimate after your consultation.

6. How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the size and type of project, as well as whether product sourcing or styling is included. We offer free quotes after a short phone or video consultation to make sure you only pay for what you need.

7. What areas do you service?

We’re based on the Sunshine Coast and proudly service Gympie through to Brisbane. Travel fees may apply for locations outside these areas — we’ll confirm that before booking.

8. Do you organise commercial or creative spaces too?

Yes! We love helping businesses and creative professionals create efficient, inspiring workspaces. From offices to studios, we’ll help you streamline your setup and design systems that make work flow easier.

9. What should I do before my session?

Nothing! You don’t need to tidy or clean before we arrive — we promise, we’ve seen it all. A quick chat beforehand will help us plan and bring what’s needed for your session.
